YouTube is going to bring a new feature to download videos. The company is testing the 'Smart Download' feature on YouTube's Android app.

This feature will automatically download 20 videos per week based on the video preference you watch on YouTube. But this feature will only download videos when Wi-Fi is in use.

The feature is coming to YouTube with the aim of allowing users to watch their favorite videos without mobile data even when they are out of the house.

Before downloading any video from this feature, the app will notify if the storage on the mobile has run out. Videos downloaded in this way can be viewed by going to the Libraries tab of the YouTube app.
