Daraz partners up with Visa

The lockdown has cultivated the habit of online shopping in Nepal. And along side that, there has been a huge surge in cashless transactions. Most of the prominent e-commerce platforms have integrated various digital wallets in their site to facilitate cashless purchases.

For instance, earlier this year, we saw the partnership between Daraz Nepal and eSewa. And now, the company has striked-up a partnership with Visa. The partnership between Daraz Nepal and Visa aims to drive forward online card payments in Nepal.

Daraz is undoubtedly one among the leading e-commerce platforms in Nepal. Therefore, it wants to supply a simple and hassle-free shopping experience to its customers. By incorporating eSewa in its electronic payment mediums, it had already taken a step therein direction. And this partnership with Visa will only add that cause.

The integration with Visa means customers will now be ready to save their Visa Card on the Daraz app. It are often a Credit, Debit, or a Prepaid Card that has been issued in Nepal. Now, as an initial offer, customers will get a 15% discount (max Rs. 500) if they create a prepayment from their Visa Card. The offer is analogous to the one we had seen when the partnership between Daraz and eSewa had commenced. However, this offer are often used just once and on your first saved card. The offer is valid till September 30, 2020, only.
