Gyanendra Khadka, who has been doing business in Silicon Valley, the IT hub of the United States for a long time, started Gyapu on Chaitra 21. According to Khadka, the company will soon expand its services to Vietnam.
"We are planning to start service in Vietnam from next January," he told Media. "Our Vietnamese team is preparing for that." There we serve under the name of Gyapu Vietnam. '
But as the lockdown continues, there may be some delay in starting service in Vietnam. He further added that ‘all these things will depend on the lockdown. If the lockdown is prolonged, you may have to wait until March to start service. '
Gyapu will be 100% invested in Vietnam. After Vietnam, Khadka aspires to take Gyapu to different countries of the world.
The company plans to extend its services to Delhi, India soon after Vietnam. Khadka informed that Gyapu will also sell Amazon, Snapdeal and Flipkart products in Nepal as soon as the service starts in Delhi.
"We will sell Nepali products from Gyapu India," he said. "We plan to start the service from Delhi and expand to Bangalore by 2021."
However, the office of Excel Trip, a company opened by Gyapu's founder and CEO Khadka, is already operating from Bangalore, India. He is confident that it will not be a problem to expand the service in Bangalore.
Although launched in India, Gyapu has no plans to expand its services across India. Gyapu will provide its services only in major cities of India.
The company plans to attract foreign investment after expanding its services to three countries, including Nepal, Vietnam and India. Gyapu currently has more than a thousand vendors and more than four million products available.
Khadka said that more than 80,000 customers have been registered on the company's platform through its website and mobile app. He said that Gyapu, which started with an investment of Rs 100 million, is currently doing more than Rs 1 million daily.
Along with food and household items, Gyapu has also launched an online bar called G-Bar. In addition, the company has been delivering restaurant dishes to the customers in partnership with Baje Ko Sekuwa.
Gyapu has expanded its business network to include all of Civil Mall's stores on its platform.
